Payment

I accept payment in USD via Square. For commissions under USD$20, I will also take payment through ko-fi.*When do I pay?Once we have agreed on your commission, I will send you an invoice via Square. Payment is upfront for icons, painting, and lineart commissions, and 50-50% (i.e. 50% upfront payment, and the remaining 50% due at the time of final delivery) for full pieces/larger projects.RefundsYou may cancel your commission request at any time. If I haven't started the piece yet, you'll be refunded in full. However, there will be no refunds after the first WIP is shown to you.For 50-50% payments, the initial 50% will not be refunded after cancellation if the piece has been started already, but you won't have to pay the remaining 50% if the piece isn't finished yet._{* If we know each other personally and you prefer an alternate payment method, let me know and we can discuss!}

Time & Progress

As mentioned, estimated delivery of a piece depends on how many commissions I'm working on, as well as external factors in my life in general.Time requestsIf you want the piece to be delivered before a certain date, please, let me know beforehand! I will try my best to have it done, but if my queue is loaded or I'm very busy at the time, I reserve the right to either charge you extra or reject your commission request.Work updatesI will be updating you via your preferred contact method as I work on the piece so you can make any changes you want. Generally, these updates will be during the sketching part, during the lineart phase, and during the coloring phase. Feedback is vital, so please don't be shy!You're entitled to ask for updates on your commission at any time — just reach out!

Size & Resolution

Image sizeSpecific size is up to you. If you plan to use the commission for a specific purpose (lockscreen, computer background, personal use print, profile picture, blog banner, etc), please let me know beforehand so I can adjust the size accordingly.If no specific image size or dimensions are requested, I will default to one of my usual canvases. These vary depending on the piece, but usually work with 2000-4000px minimum.Resolution is always 300dpi.FormatI will send you both a PNG and a JPG version of your finished commission in a ZIP file.BackgroundsAs a default, I work with either solid white or solid color backgrounds, but you can ask for a transparent background if you'd prefer one.If you would like a more detailed background (either abstract or otherwise), let me know - the price of your commission will be updated accordingly based on the level of detail you would like. As noted in my Wills & Won'ts page, if a requested background is too complex for a commission, I will let you know.

By commissioning me, you agree to the following terms:• You will not claim my artwork as yours and/or remove my signature when sharing it online.• You will not edit my artwork without permission (color changes, tracing, collage, etc.) Cropping for icons/banners/etc is perfectly fine, though I will appreciate being credited elsewhere if my signature is lost in the process.• Commissions are considered personal use only. You are free to print the piece on a mug, tee, poster, or wherever you'd like as long as it's for personal use only.• You will not use my artwork for your own economical benefit (merchandise, tees, mugs, printed comics, games, blockchain related technology, or any kind of en-masse production.) If you'd like to commission me for a project, merchandise, etc., you must let me know beforehand so I can adjust my fees accordingly/so we can set up a licensing agreement.• You will not share any kind of private information you might gain access to in order to make your payment or communicate with me.• When sharing online, I ask that the artwork be accordingly credited to me with a tag/link to my profile.I reserve the right to:• Post the finished art on my own social media. (unless previously discussed)
• Include it in my portfolio or in promotional posts after completion. (unless previously discussed)
• Turn down a commission if I'm not comfortable completing it. (explanation may be offered if desired but is not guaranteed)
